GILGIT: Concern over drug smuggling to China


GILGIT, Nov 5: Trader in Northern Areas have expressed concern over growing cases of smuggling of narcotics to China and described it as a conspiracy against border trade with China.

Traders affiliated with the Silk Route Importers and Exporters Association said that they had taken out a rally against narcotics smuggling to China and called for an impartial probe into the matter so that hands behind the racket could be exposed. They also chanted slogans against smugglers.

Northern Areas Exporters and Importers also called for an inquiry into the issue.
