ISLAMABAD, Nov 4: A delegation from Brunei, headed by Energy Minister and Chairman Brunei Investment Agency (BIA) Phehin Dato Yahya, has shown its keen interest to build strong economic relations with Pakistan.

During a meeting with Federal Minister for Privatisation and Investment Zahid Hamid here on Saturday, the delegation stated that there were immense opportunities of growth in Pakistan and Brunei would like to benefit from this.

Mr Hamid while briefing the delegation said that the structural reforms and stabilisation of economic policies being followed by the government had achieved impressive progress on the macroeconomic front.

He said that the investment policies of Pakistan were the most liberal in the region and there was unlimited potential in all economic sectors which were fully open for investment. — Our reporter
