Five killed as rival groups clash

SHIKARPUR, Nov 2: Five people killed in a clash between two groups of Saidkhanani and Aturani Jatois. Five others sustained serious bullet injuries in the clash which took place in the jurisdiction of Rustam police on Thursday.

Reports reaching here said that the rival groups exchanged fire in which Sharkoo Saidkhanani, Lakhmir Aturani Jatoi and Pathan Aturani Jatoi died on the spot.

Two others, Ghulam Nabi Aturani and Ali Hyder Aturani, died while being shifted to hospital. Lashkari, Shanoo, Sikoo, Qaisar and Allah Warayo Saidkhanani sustained serious injuries.

The injured were shifted to Khanpur and Shikarpur hospitals.
