Fata law, order discussed

PESHAWR, Nov 2: Vice-Chief of Army Staff General Ahsan Saleem Hayat called on NWFP Governor Ali Mohammad Jan Aurakzai at the Governor’s House Peshawar on Thursday.

They discussed law and order situation in Fata, security situation on Pakistan-Afghanistan border and pace of work on the ongoing development projects in Fata.

The situation arising after the Bajaur incident also came under discussion and it was stressed that every possible step would be taken to ensure law and order, discourage extremism and protect life and property of the people in Fata.—APP
