KARACHI: Arbab vows to control crimes


KARACHI, Nov 2: Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has said that all possible steps are being taken for weeding out and control the crimes.

The Sindh government, he said, has allocated Rs18.18 billion for maintenance of law and order in the budget 2006-07 while salaries of policemen in Sindh have been increased.

Speaking to 33rd CTP Police Officers Group at Chief Minister House here on Thursday, Dr Arbab called upon the police officers to perform their duties with responsibility.—APP
