KARACHI: KU admissions

KARACHI, Nov 2: The commerce department of the University of Karachi on Thursday announced admissions to BCom/ MCom.In a KU release issued here, the chairperson of the department said that the students of Arts, Commerce and Science faculties, with up to 45 per cent marks, were eligible for admission to BCom, while the same marks in BCom were required for MCom.

She said that the entrance tests would be conducted on Nov 26, 2006 at 10am, while for entry test for MCom would be held at 2pm at Science faculty on the same day.

The admission forms with prospectus of Rs500 will be available at UBL’s Karachi University branch at Silver Jubilee Gate. The list of successful candidates would be issued on Dec 12, while admission forms with late fee could be submitted till Dec 15. Academic session would start on Jan 6, 2007.

Meanwhile, the KU announced that examination forms and fees for BA, BCom, BOL and BSc (Improvement of Division) annual examinations 2006 would be accepted with a late fee of Rs500 from Nov 6 to 13.—PPI
