Citigroup award

ISLAMABAD, Nov 2: The Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) and Citigroup Foundation on Thursday launched the ‘Citigroup Micro-entrepreneurship Awards 2006 Programme’.

PPAF chief executive Kamal Hyat speaking on the occasion said the programme had been instituted to recognise and honour leadership, entrepreneurial skills and best practices of individual micro-entrepreneurs in Pakistan.

He said the goal of the awards programme was to encourage and support best practices among both micro-entrepreneurs and micro-finance institutions throughout the country.—APP
