KARACHI, Nov 2: Two ships carrying containers and crude oil were berthed at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, another container vessel arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy stood at 80 per cent as nine ships, Mumbai Express, Ningbo, ACX Mimosa, Islamabad, Chemroad Rose, Alexandra-I, Chemroad Seven, Trust Spirit and Navious Gemini-S, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, edible oil, seeds, chemicals, crude oil and iron ore.

Cargo handling activity was brisk totalling 83,177 tons comprising 68,064 tons of import and 15,113 tons of export tonnage.

Sailing was active as Chemroad seven and DD Master left the port while Mumbai Express was due to depart. London Senator and Sima Pars were expected to take berths.
