PESHAWAR, Oct 31: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has appealed to the three provinces to condemn the Monday bombing of Bajaur and extend support to the protesting people of the NWFP.

He was concluding a debate in the NWFP assembly against the bombing. He said Pakistan was everything to them, because it had given them dignity and honour and the NWFP assembly was fighting for the cause of Pakistan. He said Pakistan army was subordinate to the Constitution and no one was above the law.

He urged the people of the other three provinces to condemn the killing of innocent students of the seminary in Bajaur. He said if today the NWFP was facing a crisis, tomorrow other provinces could undergo similar situation. He denied that the seminary was being used as a terrorist facility or being used as a hideout of militants or terrorists.

He said peace in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir and other flashpoints in the world was necessary for global peace. He said peaceful dialogue was the only option with the peace-loving forces across the world. He said use of brute force had made the things complicated in the world.

The chief minister said today the MMA was an elected forums and running a government in the NWFP and it could not afford the politics of streets. He said the MMA had responsibilities of maintaining law and order and peace in the province.

He said the missiles rained on the seminary the day which was scheduled for a peace accord. It was, he said, a great tragedy. He rebutted a proposal by MMA MPA Maulana Mujahid al Hussaini about the resignation of the MPAs.

He said they would not tender resignations on this occasion. He said if the MMA leadership asked them to do so, he would resign forthwith.
