MULTAN, Oct 31: Three people were killed and more than 40 injured when a speeding bus overturned on Jahanian bypass in Khanewal district on Monday night. The bus was on way to Lahore. It overturned at Kamboh Chowk near Khanewal DHQ Hospital at a sharp turn.
The dead have been identified as Imran Ali of Chak 225/WB Dunyapur, Wasim and Liaquat Ali of Chak 227/WB Dunyapur. The injured were admitted to DHQ hospital.
The bus driver managed to escape.
Khanewal city police impounded the bus.
