KARACHI: Boy dies in accident

KARACHI, Oct 31: A young boy died in a road accident when he was crossing the National Highway.

After the incident, enraged people set the vehicle on fire in Shah Latif area on Tuesday evening.

Police said Jehangir, 14, was knocked down by a speeding coach on National Highway in the limits of Shah Latif police. The accident occurred across a roadside hotel where people were having tea. They rushed to the spot to rescue the child.

The boy died on the spot. Police said that the driver of the coach managed to escape.
