KARACHI, Oct 30: The Defence Housing Authority on Monday rejected reports that the DHA claimed the ownership of the Bundal and Buddo islands. A spokesman for the DHA said the controversy in the media over the ownership of the twin islands had become a `quagmire’ with many stakeholders being referred to as its rightful claimants.
He clarified that the DHA had neither any ownership claim nor any connection whatsoever with the proposed development activities about the islands. —PPI
