Toxic liquor toll rises

MULTAN, Oct 29: A man died after drinking toxic liquor in Khanewal on Sunday.

According to reports, Ghulam Abbas alias Kaka, resident of Block No 6, was rushed to a local hospital after he fell unconscious where doctors pronounced him dead.

With this, death toll from toxic liquor in south Punjab districts of Multan, Vehari and Khanewal since Eid has risen to 27.
