Man commits suicide
MARDAN, Oct 29: A man committed suicide and another was killed here on Sunday, police and family sources said. In the first incident, Syed Rehman committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in the Rustam area.
The cause of the suicide could not be ascertained.
In the other incident, a cloth merchant, Abdul Haque, was shot dead and another was injured when an unidentified man opened fire on them in Sarfaraz Gunj Bazaar.
The injured man was taken to the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar in critical condition.
The relatives of the victims have lodged an FIR against the unidentified accused with the Hoti police.
