SHIKARPUR: Man killed in clash

SHIKARPUR, Oct 29: A man was killed and three others sustained injuries in an armed clash between two groups of Jeha community in Sadiq Jeho village near Garhi Yasin on Sunday.

Reports reaching here said that Bahar Shar died while Dilbar Jeho, Sanaullah Shar and Nazeer Shar received serious injuries in heavy exchange of fire between the two groups.

The injured were moved to Garhi Yasin hospital.

The motive behind the incident is said to be an old enmity.

According to Gulab Jeho group their rivals, belonging to Amir Jeho group, attacked them with the help of Shar tribesmen.

The Shar community, however, maintained that the deceased and injured Shar people were victims of exchange of firing between the rival groups.
