KARACHI: Ishaq’s death condoled

KARACHI, Oct 27: The death of former President of Pakistan, Ghulam Ishaq Khan, has been widely condoled by a cross section of population, including Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, Sindh Chief Minsiter Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and Sindh ministers.

Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim expressed deep sorrow and sympathized with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.

Provincial ministers Dr Saeeda Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani and Qamar Mansoor have expressed their heartfelt condolences with their cabinet colleague, Irfanullah Khan Marwat, on the demise of his father-in-law and a former president, Ghulam Ishaq Khan.

In their joint condolence message, the ministers prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Acting President of Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) Sindh Chapter Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Friday expressed his grief and sorrow on the demise of ex-President of Pakistan Ghulam Ishaq Khan.The PPP leader, in his condolence message issued here, prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.—APP/PPI
