KARACHI, Oct 27: At least 62 vehicles and 180 cell phones were snatched or stolen in various parts of the city during the last three days.

Police sources said on Friday that five cars were snatched at gunpoint and a single car was reported stolen.

One motorcycle was reportedly snatched and 11 were stolen.

However, on Thursday the second day of Eid, only a car was reportedly stolen while three motorcycles were snatched and 13 were stolen.

Police said on Eid day on Wednesday, a single car was snatched at gunpoint and seven were stolen while two motorcycles were snatched and 16 were stolen.

Similarly, on Friday police said 14 mobile phones were snatched at gunpoint and 37 handsets were stolen while eight went missing.

Police said on Thursday 29 cell phones were snatched at gunpoint and 37 were missing while eight hand sets were missing on the day.

On Wednesday (Eid day), 23 mobile phones were snatched at gunpoint and 56 were stolen while 15 cell phones were missing.
