LONDON, Oct 23: BP announced here on Monday that it had located more oil in a deepwater oil field in offshore Angola.
The Titania well, which marks the 11th discovery BP has made on the so-called Block 31, flowed at a rate of 2,045 barrels per day, the company said in a statement.
BP is the operator of the block with a 26.67-percent stake. Its partners include Esso Exploration and Production, Sonangol, Statoil, Marathon International Petroleum, and Total unit TEPA.
