KARACHI, Oct 22: Umar CC qualified for the 1st Southend Twenty20 Ramazan cricket tournament with a 29-run win over UTI CC at the Southend Club Ground.

Batting first, Umar CC made 163 for nine with Shahid Latif (56 off 45 balls, two fours) and Fahim-ur-Rehman (34 with seven fours) being the main run-getters.

Ali Naqvi took five for 18. UTI CC, in reply, were bowled out for 134 in 18.2 overs with off-spinner Tabish Nawab taking five for 18 and Mansoor Ahmed three for 26.
