Aziz orders strict security

ISLAMBAD, Oct 22: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has asked police to remain vigilant during the Eid days to prevent any untoward incident. Talking to a delegation of police officers which called on him on Sunday, the prime minister said the government was taking all necessary steps to improve the efficiency of police force so that the law and order situation could be improved and street crimes prevented.

He said that induction in the Islamabad traffic police had improved its performance a lot.

The prime minister said a lot was to be done to improve the efficiency of police so that they were better equipped to perform their duties.
