KARACHI: Encroachments removed

KARACHI, Oct 22: The illegally built wall in Paradise Homes Society, which had blocked the road in UC-12 Gulshan-i-Iqbal was razed in the supervision of Town Nazim Wasay Jalil.

The residents of the society had requested the town nazim to order demolition of the wall, constructed by some influential people, as it had blocked the vehicles’ passage and other side road was bearing burden of two-way traffic making road mishaps order of the day.

The wall also caused problem in installation of water pipeline, being laid for provision of water to the residential society, a press release stated on Sunday.

Another 350-feet-long wall built illegally around the office of UC-12 on the land of city government was also demolished.

Meanwhile, encroachments established at Nishtar Basti, UC-4, were also pulled down under the supervision of Wasay Jalil.—PPI
