LAHORE, Oct 19: Thirty-five special trains will be run during the three-day ‘Eid operation’ starting from Saturday. Railway officials said on Thursday that 14 trains would be run on the first day, 12 on the second day and nine on the third day.
According to the officials, four trains each will leave from Lahore and Rawalpindi on October 21, two each from Quetta and Karachi, and one each from Faisalabad, Narowal and Multan.
On October 22, four specials will depart from Lahore, two each from Rawalpindi and Karachi while one each from Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad and Narowal.
On October 23, three trains will leave Lahore, two will leave Rawalpindi, and one each will leave Multan, Faisalabad, Narowal and Peshawar.
On October 21, the first train will depart from Karachi for Sargodha at 1pm, the second from Karachi for Peshawar via Lahore at 2:45pm, the third from Quetta for Peshawar at 1:00pm, the sixth from Lahore for Rawalpindi at 9:00am, the seventh from Rawalpindi for Lahore at 4pm, the 12th from Rawalpindi for Multan at 5:15pm, the 16th from Lahore for Faisalabad at 4:30pm, the 17th from Faisalabad for Lahore at 7:00pm, the 20th from Narowal for Lahore at 5:00pm, the 21st from Lahore for Narowal at 11:55pm, the 27th from Quetta for Rawalpindi at 9:00am, the 28th from Rawalpindi for Karachi at 9:30am, the 30th from Rawalpindi for Lahore at 7:00 pm and the 31st from Lahore for Rawalpindi at 12:00 midnight.
On October 22, the fourth special will depart from Karachi for Rawalpindi at 5:45pm, the fifth from Quetta for Lahore at 1:00pm, the eighth from Lahore for Rawalpindi at 9:00am, the ninth from Rawalpindi for Lahore at 4:00pm, the 13th from Multan for Rawalpindi at 11:00am, the 22nd from Narowal for Lahore at 5:00pm, the 23rd from Lahore for Narowal at 11:55pm, the 29th from Karachi for Lahore at 9:30pm, the 32nd from Rawalpindi for Lahore at 7:00pm, the 33rd from Lahore for Rawalpindi at 12 midnight, the 34th from Lahore for Faisalabad at 4:30pm and the 35th from Faisalabad for Lahore at 7:00pm.
On October 23, the 10th special will depart from Lahore for Rawalpindi at 9:00am, the 11th from Rawalpindi for Lahore at 4:00pm, the 14th from Rawalpindi for Multan at 5:15pm, the 15th from Multan for Rawalpindi at 11:00am, the 18th from Lahore for Faisalabad at 4:30pm, the 19th from Faisalabad for Lahore at 7:00pm, the 24th from Narowal for Lahore at 5:00pm, the 25th from Lahore for Narowal 11:55pm and the 26th from Peshawar for Lahore at 10:30am.
