LAHORE, Oct 19: FIFA president Sepp Blatter's visit to Pakistan has been deferred for some time due to a surgery lined up for the official.
Blatter was due to pay a two-day visit from Oct 30.
Pakistan Football Federation, Director Administrator Col Ahmed Yar told Dawn that PFF had received a fax from FIFA regarding the postponement of Blatter’s visit. He said the fax did not mention the nature of Blatter’s surgery.
He hoped FIFA would soon announce a fresh date of the visit.
Blatter was to inaugurate the FIFA Football House which has been completed at a cost of $765,000 including a share of $450,000 from FIFA.
