Move to check infiltration across border

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Oct 19: The government will install a monitoring system on entry and exit points along the border with Afghanistan in the NWFP to check infiltration of undesired elements into the country.

Sources said on Thursday that the National Database and Registration Authority had been tasked to install the system.

The system has been devised following Kabul’s complaints about infiltration of Taliban from Pakistan. Pakistan also plans to fence its borders with Afghanistan, sources said.
