Age limit relaxed

LAHORE, Oct 19: The Punjab government on Thursday amended the Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Upper age limit) rules, extending the age limit for the recruitment of family members of government servants upon their death or inability to serve any more.

According to the amendment, an appointing authority will be empowered to give a maximum of 10 years relaxation in age to a son/daughter, wife or widow of a government employee, died or handicapped during service, seeking job in place of the latter.
