SAHIWAL, Oct 19: The Punjab IGP has sought a report on the killing of a woman by her in-laws at Chak 108/7-R. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan had informed the IGP about the incident in response to which he has sought a report from his subordinates.
Reports said Muhammad Husain had quarreled with his daughter-in-law Shamim over some domestic dispute.
The family first gave a thrashing to the woman and then set her ablaze. She is fighting for life at a hospital.
