KARACHI, Oct 19: Administrative judge of anti-terrorism courts acquitted two suspects of kidnapping for ransom charges and ordered their release if not involved in other cases.
Rufi Ahmed and Noman Azeem were accused of kidnapping Fawad, 12, for ransom from Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Jan 4.
Meanwhile, the AJ also accepted police report for the release of five accused in a kidnapping and harassment case.
Dr Tasleem Kausar had lodged an FIR alleging that her son Malik Yar Dravid was kidnapped by Razak, Shaukat, Farooq, Tahira and Akbar.—PPI
