KARACHI, Oct 18: The University of Karachi will remain closed from Oct 23 to the third day of Eidul Fitr. The NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, will also remain closed from Monday to Wednesday on account of Eidul Fitr, with one day extra holiday on Oct 26 in lieu of pre-admission entry test 2006-07 held on Sunday Oct 1.
Meanwhile, the Karachi University declared on Wednesday the result of BSc (Home Economics) first year annual examination.
According to result, 557 candidates were registered, of which 552 appeared in the examination and only 233 passed while 319 failed.—PPI
