ISLAMABAD, Oct 17: Foreign secretaries of Pakistan and India will meet in New Delhi on Nov 14 to review the third round of the composite dialogue and to prepare a roadmap for the next one.
The governments of Pakistan and India have agreed to hold the foreign secretary-level review meeting of the third round of the composite dialogue on 14-15 Nov 2006 in New Delhi, the foreign office announced on Tuesday.
Foreign Secretary Riaz Mohammad Khan would be leading an eight-member delegation to New Delhi on the eve of the talks, it is learnt.
The two-day talks of the foreign secretaries would cover the key issue of Jammu and Kashmir besides all other aspects of peace and security. One important agenda item would be the joint anti-terror institutional mechanism that the leaders of the two countries decided to establish during their Havana meeting last month. Some headway on the Siachen and Sir Creek issues is also expected.—Q.A.
