Lust for more!

SADIQABAD, Oct 17: The lust for getting doubled the amount one already possessed lured yet another `fool’ into the trap laid by a swindler. Reports said one Umar Bux alias Umar Larik, a resident of Sanjarpur Town’s rural area, somehow convinced Zakir Hussain Rajput, an arms trader, that he had a `machine’ which could double the amount put in it.

Zakir, blinded by the prospect of earning `easy’ money, arranged Rs0.5 million and went to Larik requesting him to double the amount.

Larik told Zakir the miracle machine was actually placed in Karachi at some secret site and if he wanted to get doubled amount he should accompany him to the port city.

Zakir gave the amount to Larik and both proceeded to Karachi. As they reached Sukkur, Larik persuaded Zakir to have dinner at a hotel and leaving him there he slipped, obviously, not to return.

Kot Sabzal police have registered a case against Larik.
