Russian envoy meets ANP chief
ISLAMABAD, Oct 17: Russian Ambassador Sergey N. Peskov on Tuesday called on Awami National Party (ANP) President Senator Asfandyar Wali Khan and exchanged views on overall political situation in the region.
The two also discussed the situation in Afghanistan at length and agreed that efforts must be made for peace in the neighbouring country which was essential for the entire region.
They said Pakistan and other countries of the region must made efforts to end the reign of terror that was creating hurdle in way of regional peace.
