Bodies of four militants brought from Afghanistan

By Our Correspondent

PARACHINAR, Oct 16: The bodies of four suspected militants were brought to the Kurram Agency from Afghanistan’s Khost province on Sunday. Also, the political administration arrested four Afghans from near Alizai town, sources said.

These sources said that the militants had been killed during an attack on a military post near Pakistan-Afghanistan border and the bodies were brought to Alizai, Lower Kurram, some 40 kilometres east of Parachinar.

They said that the deceased belonged to the North Waziristan Agency and the bodies were sent to Miramshah.

The political authorities had also arrested four other suspects from Talu Kunj village, south of Alizai, who, what the officials believed, sneaked back into the area after an encounter with the Afghan National Army.
