HYDERABAD, Oct 16: District Coordination Officer Muhammad Hussain Syed has directed the taluka municipal officers (TMOs) to remove the hindrances causing traffic deadlocks by the end of this week so that people have no difficulty going to eidgahs and graveyards to offer Fateha.

Presiding over a meeting of all the TMOs of the district at his camp office on Sunday, he said that some eidgahs and graveyards required urgent rehabilitation as the Eidul Fitr was round the corner.

He directed the officials to ensure dewatering and earth filling of public places and urged the managing director of WASA to ensure uninterrupted water supply and drainage during Eid celebrations.

The DCO asked the TMOs to ensure cleanliness and stressed the management of Hesco and other utility departments to ensure uninterrupted and efficient delivery of services to the people especially on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
