Black cabs
LONDON, Oct 16: London's iconic black taxi cabs could be scouting for fares along the streets of Pakistan by the end of the year, a newspaper reported on Monday.
Cab maker Manganese Bronze Holdings Plc told the Times it was in talks with Pakistan's Prime Transport Ltd, whose chief executive Dawood Khan said the Pakistani government had given his Karachi-listed firm permission to import the first taxis duty-free.
Mr Khan also wants to build a production site in Karachi at the start of next year, with annual output of 3,500 to 4,000 black cabs for the market.—Reuters
