KARACHI, Oct 16: Four ships, including a car carrier, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where 11 ships were berthed to unload and load general cargo and containers: They are: Cape Santiago, Bunga Kenari, Mar Calabria, Ever Guide, China Star, to unload and load containers, Swat, Southern Atlas, Al-Marwah, with tankers, Le He, BBC Trindad, with general cargo, and China Trader, with coal.

Sailings were also on the higher side as 10 vessels departed. Oel Aishwarya, Cape Santiago, Maersk Arkansas, Bunga Kenari, Mar Calabria, Dareen, Le He, Pacific Primate, Sunrise Rosa and Bryggen departed, while China Star, Southern Atlas, Han Zhong Men, BBC Trindad, Swat, Marylisa-5 and Ever Guide are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.184 tons comprising 12,985 tons of export cargo and 0.171m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Johar, with crude oil, APL Dalian, with containers, Pearl, to load 13,000 tons of rice, and Dream Beauty, with 1,026 cars.
