By Our Correspondent

LARKANA, Oct 15: The Chairman of the Sindh National Front and the Sindh Qaumi Ittehad (SQI), Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, has said that Sindh is the sole owner of its islands and centre’s claims are unjustified.

Speaking at a reception hosted in his in village ‘Arizi Bhutto’, on Sunday, he rejected prime minister’s claim regarding Sindh’s islands in which he had said that nothing could be imposed on the province by force and the proprietary could not be changed by force.

He said that provinces had the right over their resources and land besides wealth and the people were the genuine owners.

He said that the centre’s role had been damaging for the provinces which continues to aggravate the situation by multiplying problems of the provinces.
