KARACHI: Search body for VCs

KARACHI, Oct 14: Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad has constituted a six-member search committee for the selection of suitable persons for appointment as vice-chancellors/director of universities/degree awarding public sector institutions in Sindh.

The vice-chancellor of Karachi University, Dr Pirzada Qasim, has been appointed as convenor of the committee.

The committee members include Dr. S.M. Qureshi, Dr Manzoor Ahmed, Dr A.Q. Mughal and Dr Masood Hameed. Mohammad Saleem Khan, principal secretary to governor will act as ex-officio member.—APP
