PESHAWAR, Oct 13: Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) Peshawar treated a total of 41,748 patients during the month of September, said a monthly report released by the hospital here on Friday.

About 38,800 of the patients were treated in the OPD while 2,948 admitted to the hospital.

According to the report, 999 major and 330 minor operations were conducted at the hospital in the said month. Besides, 146 MRI tests, 254 CT scan and four mammographies were also done.

It said that the hospital also undertook 301 echo, 30 ETT and 859 ECGs. Besides, 31 patients were given dialysis facilities while 186 OGD, 46 Colonscopy, 28 Sclero, 17 ERCP, one Polypectomy, three band and two dilation were also done.

As many as 64 deaths occurred during the month of September.—APP
