LONDON, Oct 13: A number of prominent UK entrepreneurs will attend the three-day World Islamic Economic Forum being held in Islamabad from November 5.

The forum will address various issues to increase economic growth and promote better investment opportunities in the Muslim world.

Officials at the trade and economic wing of the Pakistan High Commission told APP on Friday that among those invited for the conference include Sir Anwar Pervez of the Bestway Group, which has extensive investment in Pakistan, Sir Peter Wakefield, President, Asia House, and Sir Michael Headings, a leading British industrialist.

The three-day conference will also provide both Muslims and non-Muslims with an excellent platform to identify new trade and investment opportunities in their respective countries that will help improve the understanding of Islam and bring their countries closer together.—APP
