MPA, MO abuse each other

Published October 13, 2006

OKARA, Oct 12: A ruling party MPA and a medical officer of the DHQ hospital used abusive language against each other reportedly over a dispute involving the re-examination of a medico-legal case.

Reports said MPA Rai Farooq Omar Kharl went to the office of MS and expressed his apprehension that Dr Saeed Sial, a member of the re-examination board, might give a partial opinion in a medico-legal case as he had links with the rival party.

Meanwhile, Dr Sial was also called at the MS office. The MPA repeated his assertion that ensued an exchange of hot words between the two.

Dr Sial claimed the MPA started abusing him without any reason as he had political differences with him. — Correspondent
