KOHAT, Oct 11: Ten people, including three women, were killed and 16 others injured in a head-on collision between a pick-up and a truck on Indus Highway near Lachi town, 22km south of here, on Wednesday.
Both drivers were among the deceased, police said.
The pickup was going from Karak to Teri while the truck was on its way to Kohat from Karak when they met with the accident. The cause of the accident is said to be over-speeding.
The bodies and the injured were taken to the Fauji Foundation Hospital at Lachi and Medical Divisional Complex Kohat.
