KARACHI: Rs3bn IT projects


KARACHI, Oct 11: Sindh Information Technology Adviser Noman Saigol on Wednesday said that his department was working on 22 IT projects worth Rs3billion in the province.

He was talking to a delegation of computer experts that called on him at his office.

The adviser said these projects included portal and website for Sindh government, e-government pilot project for Sindh government Phase 1, introduction to IT in district administration, call centres training programme for undergraduates and graduates, video conferencing programme, e-police system, computerisation of AG office and field offices, computerisation of excise duty and property tax, computerization of Civil Hospital Karachi, IT programme ennoblement for polytechnic organizations, internet media city cell, and others.—PPI
