PESHAWAR, Oct 10: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) has said that it will work for promoting consensus on the renaming of the Frontier province.

“Now that the MMA government has settled the net hydel profit issue, it will move on to the issue of renaming the NWFP,” said MMA provincial president Senator Gul Naseeb Khan at a press conference here on Tuesday.

“It is the smooth working relationship between the MMA and the federal government that led to the resolution of the issue. All the past governments had failed to deliver in this regard,” he said.

He turned down allegations that the MMA was the government’s ‘B’ team.
