KARACHI, Oct 10: Five ships carrying chemicals, containers and coal are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was slow where two ships, Shalamar, to unload crude oil, and Pacific Ace, to offload palm oil, were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Kota Perkasa, and Oel Victory, while Da Peng Hai and Shalamar are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves modest owing to fall in berthing as the total fell to 68,948 tons comprising 4,950 tons of export cargo and 63,998 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Bow de Silver, with chemicals, Iran Hesabi, Hyundai Highway and Y.M. Fortune, with containers and Pacific Primate, with 41,345 tons of cola.
