Karachi Urban thrash Quetta

KARACHI, Oct 7: Karachi Urban thrashed Quetta by a massive margin of 224 runs on the third and final day of their three-day PCB Inter-region Under-19 Cricket Championship penultimate round match at PCB Regional Academy ground on Saturday.

Urban declared their second innings at their overnight score of 300 for three.

Quetta with a target to make 348 to win, were spun out for 123 in their second innings by trio of spinners.

Off-break bowler Zeeshan Jamil grabbed three wickets for 17 runs, left arm spinner Ahmed Iqbal got three for 22 and leg-spinner Shahzeb Khan claimed two for 39.

Karachi Urban 189 (Zaheer Abbas 50, Nazar Hussain 5-65) and 300-3 declared (Zeeshan Jamil 133, Shan Masood 129 not out).
