QUETTA, Oct 6: Gas supply to many areas of the city was disrupted on Friday after a pipeline was blown up near the Gahi Khan chowk in the Shalkot area.
Police sources said a home-made explosive device had been planted with a timer under the pipeline supplying gas to western parts of the city.
The pipeline caught fire after the explosion. The fire was controlled after gas supply was stopped.
