Sindh Muslim triumph

KARACHI, Oct 6: Mohammad Kashif’s match-winner helped Sindh Muslim edge past Shahzad Mohammadan 1-0 in the KASB soccer league at CDGK Stadium on Friday.

Kashif struck the winner in the 32nd minute, while Shahzad Mohammadan rued a missed penalty by Asghar in the 58th minute.

In another match, Al Shahbaz Korangi outplayed Ghani XI 4-1 thanks to two strikes by Abdul Rahman.

Mohammad Tahir of Ghani XI drew first blood in the 7th minute before Rahman found the cage for an equaliser in the 27th minute.

Mohammad Zakir stretched the lead for the winners three minutes later, while Mohammad Younus made it 3-1 with a 41st-minute goal. Rahman finished off with his second in the 60th minute.
