GUJRANWALA, Oct 6: An FIA raiding team claimed to have arrested three more human agents, including a bank manager, here on Friday.

Reports said that agency deputy director Akram Naeem Bharoka and assistant director Aqeel Qureshi received information that the accused were present in their houses. On their direction, the FIA team conducted the raid and arrested the three accused. They were identified as Haji Abdul Malik, Muhammad Aslam and bank manager Mir Afzal Abbas.

It was learnt that the accused had sent some 100 people to Greece a few months back. However, all these illegal immigrants were deported.

SHOT DEAD: A man along with his sister-in-law was shot dead by his brothers-in-law over some domestic issue in Mandiala Warraich Cantonment on Friday.

Reports said that deceased Riaz Ahmad was present in his house when accused Mansha, Saeed and their accomplices came there and opened fire on him after a squabble. They also opened fire on Rehana Bibi, mother of eight children, when she tried to rescue him. Both of them died on the spot.

Cantonment police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating.

APPEAL: A woman, the mother of three minor children, has appealed to the DIG and the DPO to get her husband recovered, who was kidnapped for ransom some two weeks back.

Reports said that trader Usman Butt, also an PTCL employee, was present in his shop in Deganwala Bazaar when unidentified men kidnapped him.
