Release of funds ordered

PESHAWAR Oct 5: NWFP Minister for Environment and Forests Shah Raz Khan on Thursday directed the project director of the Malakand Rural Development Programme to immediately release funds for the ongoing and new schemes for timely completion.

He was presiding over a meeting to review developmental projects in Dargai. The meeting was attended by MNA Syed Bakhtiar Maani, project director Ashfaq Khan and team leader Samiullah Khan.

Mr Raz Khan said the MMA government was taking keen interest in development of Malakand Agency and for this purpose a huge amount was being spent on different developmental projects.

He directed the concerned authority to further expedite pace of work and ensure quality construction.—APP
