SUKKUR Oct 5: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur, plans to hold a test for selcting outstanding students for awarding scholarships under the president’s talent farming scheme.

A handout issued by the controller of the board here on Thursday said that students who had passed class-VIII examination-2006 and students of SSC part-I (class-XI) in the science group in the academic session 2006-07 in any of the recognised higher secondary schools affiliated with the board were eligible for the scholarships.

Similarly, students who have passed SSC-II annual examination 2006 and are students of HSC-I (class XI) pre-medical and pre-engineering groups in any of the recognised institutions affiliated with the board can also apply.

Students must have secured 70 per cent aggregate marks in the middle standard class VIII and SSC part-II annual examination.

Application forms complete in all respects can be deposited with the assistant controller of examinations before November 30 along with Rs100 fee.
